Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

No kiddin right?? Maybe next time I go out I will have someone with me to take pictures.

Hey Kyle, I really like the airshocks setup you have gone with, what size are you running?? I think I'm going to go this way as well....How did you mount the upper shocks, and do you have any pics of it?? I'd hate to copy you exactly the way you did it, so if I had pics of yours, I could make sure I don't do it the same way you did yours! :D

Do you have any unloading issues when climbing a hill ive always heard air shocks try to unload on ya

No, not yet. I am really suprised at how well this things handle, but I do plan on using 3 straps in the front, one tightish in the middle and 2 on the sides to allow it to flex

Alright, update time.

Got my tire groover....

I did the 2 worst tire first, went pretty good, took me about an hour. I don't really like the pattern I did, but that is how the wear bars were so that is how it happened. I cut the grooves about 3/8" deep, same as what the center lugs had left on them, should have some good traction now. Pictures make the tires look BALD, but they aren't.

And a little side note, put my vinyl floor back in, much quieter now. I also started on finishing my box, cut up the front part I cut off to section back in, but I am thinking it is a lost cause, might go a little custom on it since it is basically rusted out. And I put my tonneau cover back on, chopped a foot out of it to make it work, but it will be nice to keep my bed covered.....I wonder how long it will last since my tank is in the bed and I have to take it off to fill.....looks good though!

I had the knife in my hand already once and said no to myself, wait before you ruin it! I am gonna get a different tank, hopfully I can fit it under the bed then I don't have to worry about it.

I know, need to find time to get that way!

Side note, going to Twisted Trails this weekend, should be a good time.

I'll be in k-zoo with the sundowners charity toys 4 tots truck show
