Yesterday I got my spacers, couldn't wait so I put em on (yesterday)

2" spacers to match the rear ones, sweet deal couldn't pass up, $20.50 shipped, new from ebay

I also put on one flare....I'm like a little kid, can't wait for nothin...

Then a quick look at the new tires and rims...notice the one in back with the sticker on it still??? All for 4 35" BFG MT's.

I also just ordered an ebay groover.....so the fun begins...

I like the flares, they look nice. They are a little bit of a pain to put on and they don't sit real tight to the body in some spots, maybe as it warms up they will relax a little.

Got all the flares put on, got my adaptors for the rear today and put on. I rolled the new chewies up infront of the truck to put em on but they wont fit with out new lug nuts, I got some with them, but different size thread. They have shank style lug nuts and I could buy some, but I would rather have steel wheels. SO here is the new look, on jackstands, but it wont last long, gonna swap rims.

new to me axle.....think I'm gonna try and take the axles out of it and put it in the ranger housing with a new 31spline locker. Then I can prep the new housing for a 4 link maybe???

If you have the small ranger 8.8, the explorer 8.8 shafts won't fit in the housing. The bearings in the housing at the end of the tubes will be to small to slide the 31 spline shafts through.

Alright. I know you can do it on a Mustang 8.8, figured the ranger would be the same.

Guess I will add a 8.8 swap kit to my list of things to buy....

I also picked up a set of sploder leafs today so maybe I can bastard pack my chevy leafs to make em softer.

I wish I could a cheap set of wheels like those but in the Ranger 4.5 lug pattern, I love those old slot mags.
