Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

keep the black steelies then order some weld on beadlocks :thefinger:

8's. They'll essentially be 10's (a little less) if you put beadlocks on em since the bead will be seating on the "outside" of the rim rather than inside the lip.

That is what I was thinking. I am still not ready to do bead locks, I wanna drive on the street and I hear the weld on ones don't balance out too good.

Keep 'em!

If it was a DD or street truck, sure. I am afraid I would ruin them out on the trails, plus cast aluminus wont bend, it breaks where steel will just bend....

Aluminum sucks offroad..wait till you bend crack one......steel you can reshape to hold air once again.

Good points, I'll keep my aluminums though. If I managed to break one of these they're cheap enough and readily available. Steel does make more sense for you H-CORE WHEELERS:icon_twisted:

would be nice to keep the slots....

but agree that steelies are better for a trailrig...

Put good set of Street Tires on the Slots, for when your just DD, and then swap out to the Black Steels when your off roading, that way you can have the steels bead locked, and not worry about the balance and the law.

Not a bad idea, but I think I am just gonna sell them...I just want the cash.

yes get rid of the mags, steel is better anyway

weld on beadlocks add approx .75 to the rim width. I am running my 16/40-16 LTbs on some 16x8's.....with the beadlock kit I am at 8.75.

Kyle do you have a way to add nitrogen to your shocks? I bought them ones today. They have the oil in them but no nitrogen.

Yup, at my work we have a couple of big tanks. I made an adaptor to fill em. Are yours new?

Maybe when I come down to get that gas tank from you I can grab the shocks and fill them, or you could meet tme at my work and we can do it up.....let me know.
