Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

sounds good man, ill pm you my number if you do

I've said this before, but I'll say it again...............

Your Mustang is awesome!! I want rims like that soooooo badly for my Ranger!

About your Ranger: That thing is gonna be sweet when it's done.

Maybe that accident was for the better! Money-wise? No. Customization-wise? Heck yes!!

if your gonna swing by Slo-Vo's ya gotta let me know....i like to meet ya at his place as well :icon_thumby:

edit: just looked up where Springfield, TN is....not far from us at all....maybe get the chance we meet up and take you to Turkey Bay for some wheelin' while ya down here.....

and may i suggest running your brake lines down the RA's.....be better than have one extremely long one dangling from the front.....

oh yeah my truck lol

Yeah, kinda! Great minds think alike right??

A little update...after 40 hours of paid work over the weekend I wasn't able to get anything done on my truck.....untill monday night. Welded up all my shock hoops and got the axle pulled out for final welding and assymbly. Filled my air shocks up with nitro today also....maybe we can have it sitting on its own weight by the end of the weekend???

Rear shock mounts tacked together, might have to clear the bed for em...F it.

We have a saying at my workplace: "If it looks bad, put another coat of paint on it!" :D

Nah, it don't look that bad, but if you can touch it up, I'd do it.

This thing's coming along great! She's gonna be pretty sweet when it's done! :icon_thumby:

I think I would still go in and put a strong back across the track bar bracket, can't hurt to over do it

Update time...

Lets see, got a lot done, still have lots to do, here it all is in no particular order....

Finished the rear shock mounts, painted them
painted the front hoops and arms
tore the axle down completely, put in new seals, new races, wire wheeled it and primered it
pressed the bearings off the carrier and made set up bearings
made a case spreader for the 44
Picked up new studs and lug nuts for the front, got new bearings and seals, tore it all apart to sand blast, clean and paint
welded my ruff stuff diff cover up
made a new collector to connect my exhaust where the cats go...can't use the cats now since I boxed the frame, no room.
ran my wires front to rear
put all the core support back on, welded it all up, getting ready to put the sheet metal on
tried to start it, but my alternator is froze up, need a new one.....

And that is just about all, lots is going on, just nothing picture worthy at the moment. Just working on getting the gears installed and getting it on its own weight!
