Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

he shaved it. I don't know what kit he used, but I remember him talking about it on Pirate

Didn't use a kit, you can remove quite a bit before needing to touch the ring gear. Believe its just a modified ruffstuff diff cover.

I was kinda right. Lol

Shouldn't you be showing off that BA buggy?

Not really anything special. I went out snow wheeling, blew another yoke/driveshaft so I upgraded to 1410 yokes in the front.

Have you looked into TMR Customs 15 bolt conversion for your 14 bolt or aren't you running shaved gears?

I just shaved and plated like they said, nothing on the gears got modified. After wheeling on it a year, I didn't have one single hang up on the diff where more of a shave would have helped.

Picture is a pile of all my broke yokes from the last year...

Do ya? They came from your neck of the woods...

and, yeah, seems like most of the stuff is located pretty close to me....

New shocks on, had to lift it a little because the shock was longer....made a bastard pack in the rear. Lifted it about 2.5" in the rear and 3 in the front. To lower it back down I will have to make new shock mounts.
