Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

Yup, John is right, I hammered and tweeked them with an adjustable wrench till I could get the door back on. It isn't perfect, but they work. I plan on keeping the doors so I can run em in the rain and snow.

Super bummed you won't be making it to Harlan man, but looks like you had a blast.

Congrats on the artec win too!

here is the last pic of his post....

as you can see, he has put his doors back on....

I am sure he tweaked them back into place with a good adjustable wrench....at least it is what I would do...

l8r, John

Oops totally missed that :icon_twisted: my bad

Yup, thanks for that. Wonder how I go about getting it? I never win anything so I never checked back lol

Ha! Nice work. You had to name it right? What name did you come up with?

I'd send them a message or something. Now you can't say "I never win anything" anymore :flipoff2:

No, it was the one before that.

I started on a set of tube front fender thingies tonight. Gonna run from a pillar to bumper and save a portion of the factory fender for style....lol

Hope they turn out like I imagine.

Can't wait to see pics

I'll post some up for sure.

Artec isn't replying to me....thats lame if they don't.

Geez Kyle, what have I missed... It's so... GREEN!

I have a problem..... Lol

Cut my bent cage tubes out, getting ready to put new ones in.

I fixed the cage, sleeved it and added another bar to help support it during impact considering I bent them both in one day.

Them I did one tube fender and trimmed the fender to fit. Might add another tube near the door on an angle, we will see.

I made the other side, added a tube under it. Now I'm debating on running a tube about 5" above the fender tube, parallel and wrap it around to the stinger, then tie the 2 together with a few short vertical tubes. Then maybe leave the fender skins off.... Thoughts?
