Hey, new to the forum, obviously. I have a 93 Ranger 4x4 that I picked up strictly as a toy. Didnt really need it as a DD and got bored one day, so I decided to chop the top on it. Its still in the early stages but Im working on installing a roll cage, tube doors and a custom bikini top. Ill have progress pics up ASAP. Has anyone else done this on their Ranger and where can I find pics. Any advice is advice is greatly needed. Also looking places around Louisville KY to wheel this "beast" once its ready!:icon_welder:

ive seen a few convertible rangers... never seen a top on them though, usually low riders. welcome btw!

KY boys FTW!! As far as wheeling spots, there are a couple threads over in the regional forums that talk about a few OHV spots in the good ol KY. Can't wait to see some pics of it topless! I was debating doing that to my 4by one day too.

Ok hopefully my pics will come up. Wanted to see what she looked like minus the bed. Glad I did, found some bad rust on the shackle mounts. Looks bad now but it is a work in progress. Anyone need any interior panels?

looks... uhm... interesting....

What part of KY are you in? Wanna get rid of that center console?

where in the Louisville area are you???

we go wheelin' at Turkey Bay OHV over at Land Between the Lakes National Park.....we also go to Interlake which is west of Louisville off I-64 ( pretty close to Evansville )

you'll really need to do a cage before ya hit any trails.....

will look cool when ya get the cage done....

btw, i have the same rims....

Yeah it does look pretty odd right now. Im in the process of cleaning up the frame in the rear so I can hit it with chassis saver. Roll cage and larger tires will help its looks for sure. Once I get the cage in, I'll paint whats left of the body olive drab. Its running 235/70/15s now. Im pretty sure thats smaller than stock as the spare is larger. Im in the southern louisville area. If you want that console, its yours. Arm rest is safe and dry in my shed.

i grew up just east of Louisville....

yeah, i believe 235/75/15's were the most common stock size.....

olive drab will be cool.....get it caged and come wheel with us...

Im coming into town tomorrow night. I wont be able to make it up until Friday. How much for the console? send me a PM
