Kroussin 93 Explorer build

the brackets are the standard mag light bracket's. suposed to use 2 brackets per light. but since all they are doing is keeping them from sliding around i think 1 per is just fine.

as for the battery terminals they are reffered to as "military style" in the catalogue. if they are really military style IDK. but they are just what I was looking for that's for sure!

Sneaking out to the garage to get a little work done on the truck. Its the wife's B-day so cant spend much time out there. plan's for today are to get the drainplug in the 9" and add a fill plug to the top to aid in changing fluid's.

both are done. just need to get a magnetic 1/2" npt flush plug now

Decide what you're going to do for lockers?

as soon as I get my check from aussie. i will be ordering a yukon grizz locker

this has been a VERY long process!!! I'm just ready for it to be back moving under it's own power. the end is close but i still dont see it yet.

thanks for that info about the brackets, guess i didn't realize they even made them specially for the maglite. ordering now lol

Truck is outta the garage for now. (no pics) but the gears and locker are awsome. took it out yesterday and it took a little getting used to. now i just need to get new steering components as they are starting to show some wear and then to get some limiting straps so i dont keep having to worry about overextending steering and driveshafts.

well little update: still wheelin it. stockpiling parts for next time it's in the garage. on the list is go thru the rear breaks as they dont seem to work well (could be iced up) replace tierod and drag link, replace clutch slave as its leaking. add limiting straps. go thru and regrease winch as it's making some odd sounds. replace passanger axle seal since I destroyed a axleshaft and limped it home destroying the seal (had to run it to test it)revamp everything that i bring with me so i can shed as many lbs as possiable cuz she is WAY overweight. rehang the exhaust as 1 bracket broke and 1 came apart. dismount tires and beadseal them as running at single digit psi in the snow is causing ice to get packed into the beads and creating leaks. and then do a general nut and bolt check.

yep i got my work cut out for me. but hopefully by spring run the truck will be at 100% and be reliable for the whole summer as thats typically my main goal

WELL nothing too exciting but trying not to make it worthless.
every time out wheelin it's just too damn cold to stop and take any pictures. but here is how she is sittin right now. these are from a week or two ago nothing has changed visually aside from the front joints now have tacked caps and the long side and stub have been swaped out for one's that arent destroyed haha

the tracks to the driverside and inline with the driverside headlight were from the explorer about 45 seconds prior to this fun. i must have missed sliding into the hole by a matter of inchs
