Koty's 91 Ranger Build Thread

do you still have the whole truck?

edit; check the message i jus sent you on facebook

alright got the dates figured out. he comes back to VA april 9th. give him time to settle in, then his wedding is on the 16th, so not that weekend. so itll either be the 1st or 2nd weekend after the wedding. unfortunately he decided to keep his 38.5"s on his yota for now, and hes leaving it in colorado this visit anyways. so crap, looks like ill be driving around on 33s with all that lift until i can scrape up some money for a decent set of used 36-37"s. but either way things are coming along. and im about to go pick up my axles and stuff and bring them to my house :D

who knows maybe in the during all this time he'll decide that he really doesnt want the 38s anymore. lol. search up kjiji and find him a great deal on 42s and convince him to get them:D

lol i wish. he was also supposed to buy my 33s for his jeep so i could buy them then, but then he said he was gonna stay at 31s on that :dunno: idk what we're doing lol

talked to him just now. i think we are gonna start fabbing before the wedding and do the work a few days after.

but tomorrow i might go get some pvc pipe and roll in bedliner. for a cowl snorkel, is 2" or 2 1/2" ok? also one can of bedliner should be plenty for a couple coats inside my cab right?

i used 2" on mine. its more then enough i didnt have any fuel miliage difference or power loss

yeah i imagine its about the same room so ill keep it at 2". does yours just route to the fender, or does it go all the way into the cowl?

mine went through he fender into the cowl but if i was to do it again id just leave it in the cowel mine came up and out with the little cap like the one on the red truck for the efi snorkel example and when it rained it would bounce off the truck and up into the snorkel other then that it worked awsome. definetly saved a hyrdo locked motor more then once.

pulled my fender to size up things for a cowl induction snorkel. also found out one of my wheels has about an inch of the lip broken on the inside of it, so im looking for some steelies

on another note, does this look ok? :D
