Koty's 91 Ranger Build Thread

Sweet deal Koty!! I can't wait to see some SAS progress. The more I read these sas threads, the more I want to do it myself. Never thought I'd say this.... but, I'm kind of looking forward to destroying my D35, so I have an excuse to do so. Ha ha. Keep us posted man!

:bawling::bawling::bawling: have you ever done something that made you feel completely sick to your stomach???

figured id go do alittle wheeling last night for the last time till i swap my stuff and just take things easy. i saw an area that looked like an old campsite so i went to drive over there, went down the bank and next thing i knew i was in a friggin swampland. i almost had it back out when my hubs decided to explode. so i got someone to pull me out. well had to jerk it out the last little bit i had dug, and with my windows being foggy and dark out, i didnt see the tree that i was right next to....

i was just starting to get everything the way i wanted it. so much for things beginning to come together....

im gonna have to pry the door open this evening.

bah thats not so bad get a pry bar between the bed and cab and pull them apart so you dont have them rubbing together. bang the door jam back so the door doesnt stick and your good!

my buddy sideswiped my truck 2 weeks b4 i rolled it and it was about the same damage. now you just wont be afraid to try the fun trails :icon_thumby:

You have a great point Kris. Sorry you banged up your rig Koty, that sucks. but if you're gona sas it, and wheel it...... I wouldn't be too worried about dents. There will be many more to come I'm sure.

jeeze thinking about when i had my ranger i think it had more dents then my dedicated trail rig lol

yeah i mean i knew it was gonna happen sometime or another. it still hurts the first time you get a real trail burn, ya know?

just wait till you flop it lol

i scared myself yesterday went out sliding around in the snow and thought i banged the bedside of my 06 f150 into a snow bank. which woulda made me mad considering i want to sell it at the end of the spring

Yeah, I know what you mean man. I've been there, and it sucks. Just keep in mind, it's only sheet metal, and can be repaired/replaced. Try not to stress about it too much.

what do you think about the cab corner? think ill be able to get that straightened out decent? im not gonna really fix, just try to touch it up so it isnt so bad. my goal for tomorrow after work is to get it bent out enough so i can open my door. its pinched shut and isnt coming open without some modification.....

that sucks man, but its not that bad. some hammer love will fix it.

yeah i felt worse about it than it really was. it my baby! haha

i can open my door now! heres some pics from the other night.
