When I'm braking and close to a stop, I can here a slight knocking noise. I've checked all of my suspension components and everythings nice and tight. I know I need front rotors as I have some pulsation, but should I be worried, or just keep ridin?

Could be the ABS. Mine knocks when activated. Also, I had an ABS fault before where it would activate when slowly braking. But was not needed.

Worrying just gives you ulcers and grey hair. Keep driving. Just be careful when you slow down.

check wheel bearings, tie rod ends, ball joints, radius arm mounts, i beam bushings. Also make sure the pins that hold the caliper are seated correctly. If every thing seems fine, let er develop. =]

Better pull the wheels and check the rotors. I had a similar problem recently-pulled the wheels and found a crack in the rotor surface.

Who knows, we might not laugh. There's only one way to find out. :icon_thumby:

The part that bolts up the spare tire under the truck was flapping and hittin the rest of it. I feel dumb now

You too?

Like a thunkthunkthunkthunk, but very light. I think it's in the front, sure sounds that way.

I thought it was a bad drive shaft U-joint at first, because it went away after the joints were changed. But now it's back. Guess I go digging after it warms up a bit.

You should definitely post that under the ranger don't list :)

Don't feel too bad though, with my company truck I took out two tires when I hit a pot hole and my manager came to bring me his spare and took my old tires to get repaired. So we get my tires changed and I get back on the road and suddenly my truck sounds like nails on a chalk board. Stupid me forgot to crank the spare tire carrier back up and I'd been dragging it down the road.
