So I will get some pictures up asap but I tried something kinda cool and it actually worked and looks pretty cool...On my 87 that I'm turning into a cross between a big go-cart/buggy/muddin' pickup...I took the box off...I then took the bumper off and shortened the frame up to the crossmember that the spare tire carrier (underneath the truck) mounts too...I removed the tire carrier from beneath the truck and basically just flipped it over to the top side and used the existing holes in the frame and bent the strap over that little crossmember thingy and drilled a new bolt hole and presto...a angled spare tire carrier sitting right over the rear of the truck...next comes a beefy (yet stylish) rear bumper that I'm building out of some heavy angle iron and then a baby flatbed that goes from the front of the spare tire carrier, up to where a flatbed goes close to the cab so I can mount a toolbox into it...Alof of jibber jab here that probably don't make sense but just though it was cool that the spare tire thing can be flipped to the up side and actually makes a pretty neat carrier that resembles more of a baja tire carrier...Doesn't take much to amuse me :headbang:

try taking a picture off of a digital camera so it's a little larger, it's extremely small, less than 300x300 pixels on my screen.
