kill switch mandate in future vehicles article

Fight my wars, pave my roads, and leave me the hell alone.

If you're real good at the first and last ones I'll even let the second one slide.

Dude.

The big issue is redefining terms.

I am a liberal. Jeffersonian liberal.

Liberty.

That is important.

Boiled down to key singularity...

Individual liberty is the key single fundamental founding principal of America.

Somebody wanted to change that.

If you want to change something fundamentally....you dislike or hate what it is.

These POS fawks are leftist.

That is Marxist, socialist, commies POS moth fockles.

Direct result of "higher education".

We are a constitutional Republic...not a pure democracy.

One of those inflates tyranny.

Higher education abandoned critical thinking for a reason.

So people are literally just tax CATTLE sheep. Look around.

Cut my taxes, pump the oil, secure the border, and protect us from invasion. Only things the feds should be doing
I'd add maintain the interstate highways to the list but not much else.

They don’t do that very well now... you think they’ll do that after they cut taxes?

Your list is getting longer, you guys want a "nanny state" or what
"Government should do this and do that, but thats all, well except for this, and that"

You might as well move to Canada now

Add to that list... the government should pay me time and a half to work from midnight to 7am.

Oh wait... there’s a snow storm coming, they are doing that. I’ll be here all night.

Well, they’re currently paying me to type this and supervise while someone puts a set of wiper blades on a truck. It’s a Mack triaxle... it’s tall, we don’t want him to fall off. Safety first. (I’m am the safety coordinator. Not by choice... I got voluntold I have to be.)

Both parties are indeed the problem and the federal government is doing way more than it is permitted to be doing according to the dictates of the constitution. Much of what it is doing is supposed to be at the state level or lower, if the people of the state in question approve it. Assuming it is even constitutionally allowed at all and not a violation of the bill of rights.

Then you have instances where they have laws that specifically restrict someone’s ability to do something very specific. So they just start doing mental gymnastics and backflips so they can do it anyway but say they aren’t.

Human nature. Humans are always going to try to find a way around an impediment to what they want to do.

Also, one can’t legislate morality. That is supposed to be taught in the home as far as the specifics and directly and by society in general and often indirectly.

Sadly, that ball is being dropped in the home and by society at large a lot of times...

"That ball" is a difficult one to hold on to due to the fact that morality isn't a universally agreed upon thing. Morals are largely subjective.

Such as... personally... I think any and all politicians who voted for this bill that allows the government to keep tabs on everyone's driving habits and shut down their vehicle whenever they see fit should be publicly executed for being a tyrant. I think that would be the moral thing to do.

Lots of people would disagree though.. and label me a monster.
