Hi,

My name is Nate, I'm new to the site, I'm turning 16 soon and I have a 1984 Ford Ranger that currently isn't running *Was then stopped :dunno:).

But I love my truck and I'm looking to keep her looking/running mint! :headbang:

I'm thinking about maybe doing some engine work and making her more than your average Ranger 2.3L. :icon_welder:

Any advice/sites to visit/where to buy performance parts would be greatly appreciated. As I quickly found out, many aren't looking to soup up their Rangers.

:D

Howdy Nate...welcome to TRS...

There is a 4-Banger forum that you can post requests for information and maybe even get help getting your 84 running again...but I'd agree with Turbo Cat...if you have the money and want more bang go turbo...there is a whole forum on forced induction that might help you in that quest...

Welcome nate, hopefully you get that ranger running soon! if your gonna do some peformance upgrades, first thing i would do would be intake and exhaust, you know, the whole K&N cone air filter, and cat-back exhaust? ive done that to my ranger and noticed more power and better fuel mileage, anyways welcome to the site and have fun with that ranger!!!!!
