Hey,

My girlfriend got me some 2 kicker C10's for Christmas to go in the back of my reg cab ranger. I want to build my own box and i was wondering if the subs will fit behind both seats. I want to put a 10 behind each seat and my amp in the middle. I was wondering if you guys have any dimensions or pointers to use while I make the box. I want to use 3/4inch mdf for my box. The subs are 4 13/16 deep.

Here is a link to the subs

Thanks so much Rusty

Tomm i have to run all the wires and rca's and then hopefully mount the subs in the truck. Will take pictures on the way.

Thanks Rusty

Would love to hear what you guys think. More pictures of the box is download on photo bucket but its so SLOW!!! lmao

put the box in my truck and started to run the wires but then i realized i have no place to put my amp. I tried the glove box, under the seats, besides the box, ect and the only place i can find is either get rid of my rear speakers or put the amp vertical on top of the box but the wiring would be ugly and you could see it front he back window. any suggestions for the reg cab guys. Where did u put your amplifier. Thanks so much rusty

here is my amp that i am using

i just replaced my 12" kenwood for a box with 2 8" subs, im planning to get me a box with 2 10" , yours is sweet!! i placed my amp in front of the box, but my 8"'s have a protection cover so they dont get damaged, when i recline the seat back, the amp doesn't move at all, u should try that way if u dont find any where else. i hope that 2 10" will sound like my 12" cuz 2 8" cant :( and i like the space the smaller subs give in a reg cab, nice setup!!

thanks a lot for the nice comment. Any pics of your 2 8's. I hope they pound good. I had 2 12's in my neon and had to sell them so i hope they fill the void, I would deff get 2 10's in a reg cab. No my amp wont fit there aready tried. Idk the only spot i can see to put it is on top of my box but you can see it from the back window but idk we will see lmao.

Thanks Rusty

ttt

tomorrow i am going to nh to pick up a 60/40 seat for my truck out of a 96 reg cab. When i get back i am going to install that and then install my amp under the seat. that should be alright???? will it overheat or anything bad.

I will have pics when im done.

thanks Rusty
