my uncle decided he wanted his ltd out of his garadge
its an 85 interseptor(yes with a 5.0 and hell no it isnt goin in the ranger)
what do you guys think
he wont give it to just anyone
he thout for a votech project for me and than a hotrod
the only catch is its been sitting for about 10 years
and ive NEVER seen the car
i hope its not rusted out

If I remember correctly, the '85 LTDs were a "fox body" vehicle. This means it shares alot of parts with the 5.0 Mustangs. Sounds like it could be a fun project.

and there were only like 500some interceptors sold

if it has been sitting in a garage for 10 years, its probably not to bad for the body. all the rubber and stuff is probably junk. it will be a fun project. i would restore it personally rather than rod it IMHO. get it. have fun with it. drive it.

Does it have a holley 4BBL on it? (the holley on 5.0's, the 4180, is a little different than classic 4160's but still fairly viable)


If the motor is in good shape it should move quite well.


If it had been one of the 351 cars, stand by LOL!!!!
