That's probably it. I never cared enough to research it. I don't believe in "selective justice or prosecution". Cheney should have been prosecuted for negligence, most anyone else would have been.

A couple weeks ago a turkey hunter shot his kid with a shotgun (Cheney's pheasant shot is nothing compared to turkey shot) No charges filed, besides nothing in prison could do more than knowing what happened and whose fault it was. Like I said, accidents happen.

Didn't Laura Bush run over someone when she was drunk driving? Hope the same rules apply to her that apply to Kennedy.

She wasn't drunk. She was 16 or 17 and pulled out in front of someone- turned out to be her boyfriend at the time. She just screwed up.

I'm not in charge of anyone. I just disagreed with you that eye for an eye works and that hoping for justice for one person by inherently condemning another is wrong. I'm entitled to my opinion as much as you are. Although if you give me your address, I'll be sure to send you a memo

This is not an eye for an eye. I am saying justice was not served. I am saying the man is a coward. I am saying he let the girl die needlessly. He ran off without assisting her at all. I am saying he was more worried about his sorry ass than helping the poor girl get out of the car. I am saying this is a despicable thing for one human being to do to another. I am saying he has never paid the piper. I am saying no matter what he does afterward, how he has helped the citizens of your fine state, it doesn't atone for his cowardly actions. I am saying I am not going to feel sorry for him because he has cancer. I'll give him the same respect he gave Mary Jo as she lay drowning, and her parents afterwards.

Just because you think he's a despicable man does not make him so. You're not the ultimate decider and judger of people Shady. You're entitled to your opinion, but you're not going to decide for the rest of us. The majority of MA residents disagree with you. Have you ever been a Mass. resident? If not, then you really can't say much and I don't blame you for your opinion of the man.

I don't speak for anyone but myself. But, you are evidently speaking for the citizens of Mass., and if they believe this is a great man, it doesn't speak much for the morality of the people.

My original point is that it's horrible for any person to become afflicted with cancer. I still stand by that point.

It is also horrible to die by drowning. I almost drowned once, but luckily I wasn't with Ted "wheres my pants" Kennedy. shady

Kennedy Sucks! He's ruining America for the rest of us that don't live in MA (and for the people that live in MA, only they don't realize it due to the large amounts of bacon he's bringing home). If he dies or resigns, he'll just be replaced with someone worse given the "brilliance" of MA voters like 4x4RangerGuy. And the fact that he isn't sitting in prison right now really pisses me off.
