Ive been looking for another truck but also worried about the 45 mile drive to school 4 days a week, when i found this
http://www.iihs.org/laws/minitrucks.aspx
so i can get a kei truck and legally drive it in arkansas?????? since there is only 1 place that isnt a 55 zone in like 50 miles and thats in missouri, and if i go that way ill just take my car.

anybody know what all it takes to make these legal to drive, and how they drive at that kind of speed,........ any extra info would be awesome i suck at using the internet to find things, no clue how i found this lol.

thanks

They are not street legal by Federal Law. They do not meet crash standards at all, not even close.

Edit: Ask your local DOT office, I didnt think they were allowed at all.

and they arent allowed on interstates just state highways.

and i hate hearing that, tell me a motorcycle has a good crash test rating, so why does everything else have to have a high one.

the law was just passed last year so im gonna say its still valid, did you check the link? its also in a few other places.
