I posted a question about a month ago about my 89 BII stalling at low rpm like when backing out of a parking space, manuvering around city streets (stop signs), and changing gears frequently (like three point turn, etc.) The engine speed drops to about 100-200 RPM and pulsates, sometimes it straightens itself out other times it stalls. The replies I got from the last post said to try cleaning the IAC valve and maybe adjusting idle speed, or its the tourque converter locking up. Cleaned the IAC and the problem was fixed for a month or two, and this last week its been flaring up again. If it is the tourque converter locking up what is the solution and how much of a pain is it to fix, or do I need a new tranny.
It's the A4LD trans.
