I am trying to install a k&n 57-2533 onto my 1999 ford ranger 3.0.... Everything was going good untill I got to step #20 when it says:

"On vehicles with an air temp. sensor install the provided rubber grommet into the (hole) on the k&n intake tube, then push the stock air temperature sensor into the gromment"

The problem is, on the intake tube that I was sent to me doesn't have the other hole it's talking about to put in my air temp. sensor? Have this happen to anyone else? Was there a 2nd hole or did you have to cut one out to put your air sensor in?

k+n intake

hey, on mine it had all the holes it needed already pre drilled and ready to go. i would say if it doesnt have one just drill one for it. it should be just a couple inches to the right of the threaded crankcase vent hole. just use a step drill if you have one and make sure not to drill it too big, hope this helps man. good luck
