I think the CAI Mastuh put under his hood looks good, just commenting on how you can get separated from your cash by wild marketing claims that are more hype than fact.

You do have to be skeptical when you go buying aftermarket stuff, there are a lot of things out there bordering on a scam. Especially with intakes and tuners because they do like to lump gas and diesel together for their performance gains.

But if you want to have fun with it and research things there is no reason to sit in the corner with a stock truck if you don't want to.

My truck is a toy with very large deviations from Fords original design... I wouldn't have it any other way.

It is cool. But 350 bucks for the HP is meh. It's really only usable up at 5k rpm. You can feel it but you don't spent much time at 5k rpm. My main goal was to hope it would be cleaner than my stock air box. It was full of dirt and nasty stuff so hopefully we wont have that problem.

Looks like a good choice. To me, all aftermarket intakes are pretty much the same when it comes to functionality. It just a matter of personal preference on what brand to choose.
