just wont start?

'94 3.0, throwing the bank 2 lean code...


recently, if i shut it off it might not start back up.....if i let it idle down for a few minutes, normally it will start, but not always.... anyone got any ideas where to start looking? my dad said maybe the fuel pump, but he is stumped as much as i am...

Fuel pressure is as good a place as any to start. Pull the vacuum line of the fuel pressure regulator. You do not want gas in it. If gas is in it replace the FPR. Next change the fuel filter. Then do a prrssure test at the shrader valve on the fuel rail. You want koeo 40 koer 35. Then see how much the pressure drops in 5 min after the truck is turned off.
