Ok so I have been been driving my truck(91 2.9 4x4) for about 7 years and it has never really run great. Recently though it started running really bad, sputtering, hard to start and the like, so I got on the 2.9 forums and just started reading everybody elses problems. Wow, there are a lot of pages! None of the problems I read where just like what I had but I figured I would give some of the solutions a try. So I cleaned the IAC, checked voltage on the TPS and cleaned the throttle body. Now keep in mind this truck has got either 190k or 290k I don't know which, but it has never run this good! So I just wanted to thank everybody that asked the questions and especially thank all those who answered them.
No thanks needed. That's what all this is here for. To keep everybody's RBVs running and wheeling. I've learned alot from here,too.
