Just can't leave any of my vehicles alone.
I bought this 89 ranger that came with a car wash and detail setup cause I decided to make some side money washing cars.
Stock is not what I want so I decided to drop it 3/4 with helper bags in the rear for that extra weight of the water and other stuff.

Here is what I have done so far.

Here it is stock.

Then I painted the 14"rims in black and added some chrome centers.

Here it is now sitting on 17's from a dodge charger.
I plan on re painting them black and putting on the stock ranger center caps.

Tare down and assembly.

97 ranger front brakes for my 89. Cost me $83.00 at pic your part:headbang:
These came of of one of the clunckers from Galpin ford.

Ibeams are on:icon_bounceblue:

There's the water tank next to my 68.
That mother is huge so I will definitely have to mount air bags in the rear.

More pics comming soon!:icon_welder:
What do you guys think so far.

The front looks like it needs to drop 1 more inch.

that happens for some reason did on mine the drop springs should take care of that

Where did you come up with the steelies? Guessing the junkyard, I was wandering if there were any 17" ones that came on cars these days. I might just have to keep my eyes open for a set to stick on the Probe until I can afford a nice set of wheels for it.

I found the wheels at a used rim/tire shop for $25 ea.

Anybody knows if I need to run spacers on my tirod ends cause my tires are toed in.

holy frig man. this makes me want to get a project truck and slam it so bad. it looks so sweet. the black rims give it a special touch.

Truck looks killer!

I can't help but notice that you also replaced the radius arms, rather than re-use them. Why? Could you not get the stock ones apart????

Hey Slim thanks for the comments...the radius arms are the stock ones just cleaned up with new bushings.

Looks gooooooooooooood....now I'm sure about what I wanna do to the '89 Ranger body left over from my project (since it's still in very good condition)

keep up the modifying.....:icon_hornsup:

wow... I WANT THOSE STEELIES MAN! ill give you 50 each for em! lol

I hear you man these wheels are sweet!
I was actualy looking for some 16" CV rims but the guy only had one so he told me that he had some dodge steelies but in 17's, man he didn't even had to tell me twice.:headbang:
