Just Plain Stupied

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahhahahhahahhaahaaaaaaaaaaaaa..weeze...........

EDIT: tonite.......

O.KKKKKKKKK.......the '36 Ranger screams....I set it on the ground an hour ago & took it down the road...runs great...got a little slip going into 3rd...I'm gonna install a xmsn pressure guage after I check the fluid level tomorrow.

Then I'll make my first run to pick up some furniture in town...it'll officially be a work truk !!

xmsn gage goin to be teh old skool syles ? or just whatevea ypou can get?
hope you had a happy new year DG and helf up ok!

just like me.......old skoooooooool....Classic Instruments guage...Haaaaaaaaaaaaaappy New Year back at cha!

....goin work on the insulation in the truk to get an "appetite"....did i ever tell you guys that I haven't had an appetite since VietNam....I just schedule my meals and eat on schedule to keep my weight up....seems like when I was given that bowl of rice to eat by some hard-core mountain-fighters in Nam, that I lost my appetite when I got down to the bottom of the bowl of rice and found 3 human fingers...the rice was kinda tough too.

EDIT: later that same day....I put it back in the air to spray bomb some weld mods./missed spots/etc......now that the xmsn is shifting good manually, I'll connect the overdrive switch/wiring all the way to the dash using the leftover OEM wires that are color-coded from the OEM Ranger overdrive harness.

Yep...fuel....and being a helicopter mechanic also, I have to restrain myself from putting a guage for EVERYTANG in the cockp......errrr....cab.

Yep....first time I got back to the states and someone sat a bowl of rice on the supper table, I freaked out/started yelling/etc. and didn't even know why i was acting that way (because of the amnesia)

I know I'm supposed to be using Caucasian College Level Pronunciation/Enunciation/Punctuation & Verbilization.....

yes he kept the factory 7.5

hes just gonna keep from doing holeshots :icon_hornsup:

SWEET! That means when he finally makes those burnout pics we'll get a nice lil bit of fireworks when the rear end blows up.

blackwidow.........co----rect......no hole shots for me....but it does leave a nice loud BARK when it hits 2nd gear at half throttle.....

Hey.....I just got it up to 80 mph on the jack stands, but it shifts so smooth into 3rd & 4th that I can't tell if it's going into overdrive!

The only way I'm sure that its going into 4th.......you know the raised white letter Firestone tires?.......well, the raised white letters turned into white SIDEWALLS when it shifted into 4th...Waaaaaaaaaaaahahahahhahaha...weeze...Waaaaaaaaahahahahahahaaa

I been thinkin....yea--right!...shutup clown & let me talk!!!....didn't take your happy-pill yet---huh?

Anyhow...Ima get a cheap xmsn pressure guage from Toys r .....I mean....auto zone to make sure it's O.K.

happy new year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DG i envy your working area. just got done workin on the F150 outside....in the wind...and the cold the -35F cold:annoyed:

Yep.....I had to close the door on the go-rajj this morning....it got all the way down to..............................+30*F

Before i took it off the jack stands last nite, I got it up to 80mph....it was smooth as could be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took the Ranger for a spin this morning after re-re-adjusting the kinked linkage (there was a tite spot that was causing the shift handle to stop at 3rd gear (being on the drugs, I didn't realize exactly what the problem was til last nite)...that explains why I was turning 3800 rpm at 60 mph....guh huk---guh huk!

Now that it's actually shifting into 4th, it turns 2800 rpm at 60......just like when the 2.9L/AOD drive train was in it.....ap-parrotly the xmsn has a bad 4th gear pressure switch, because I wired up the O/D from the ign. to the low vacuum switch to the dash ON/OFF switch to the xmsn, but it's still not shifting into O/D........a minor technicality....I enjoy removing the xmsn pan....Now that I welded a QUIK-DRAIN PLUG into the bottom of it!!!!!

When I get back home Sunday, I'll drop the pan & check everything with an ohm guage & pressure check the 4th gear switch & lock-up solenoid & add that xmsn pressure guage whilst I got the truk off the ground agiiiiiiiin...
