Just Plain Stupied

Spirtually fun......YES!.....

Physically fun......no....we went to see Blake's grave Christmas Day...it was rough.....real rough.

But the hard part of the holiday is over....so we can just be glad he's in Heaven with God....(I'll sure be glad when I can think of Blake that way every day)

Any how.......nope.....no parts for litle red '36....I still didn't re-attach the floor-tunnel after raising the xmsn!!!!!!!but, I'm gonna do it & drag out a few aftermarket catalogs soon.

:icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

My son-in-law & my daughter got busted around midnight Christmas Eve/Morning....................
not for drugs........not for :hottubfun:........:icon_surprised:

my grandson woke up & found them putting his bike together!!!!!!!

That's hilarious:D

The vacuum O/D switch is connected.....gonna take the Ranger for a spin to see how the xmsn shifts (still waiting on the brake O/D unlock switch to get here)

The tunnel is going back in place....in 2 pieces.....it's a lot easier raising the section with the floor shifter & getting the bottom of the shifter to clear an inch over the xmsn than the 1/4" i was getting wrestling with a 42" long chunk.....then the 2nd piece.....the hump at the firewall which needs raising 2" to clear the top/front of the xmsn & the ports for the cooler fittings/lines..

The rear half of the tunnel is glued in place.....gotta go get some more paalaastic hardener tomorrera...

looks like there wont be much space between the seats behind that shifter

LOL....Good Eye.....you got that right......it's got 2" from the door to the seat.....& 2" between the seats for seat-belt clasps.....& just enuff room to the rear of the shifter in Lo gear to yank up the E-brake handle after it's installed..

Those old trucks sure weren't very wide...but they gots style !!!!!!!!!!!

I just about got the last section of tunnel replaced.....and I'll add the last layer of insulation before I drop it off at the upholstery shop to get the floor covered....I'll miss the sound of the A/T clicking thru the gears & the pavement flying under my feet....

You can see an aluminum panel above the freshly glued trans tunnel...the panel is 3" deep into the firewall to allow room for the distributor when I moved the engine rearward to install an electric puller-fan on the back side of the radiator.

word is:

the flo-boad is notched/re-arched & re-installed....

now I gotta get in there with the new shiny-stuff-insulation & put a fresh layer of it over the 1st layer of heat/soundproofing....

is there a panal that goes under the dash to coverup/tuckunder that wireing?

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahhaahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa......

No!

But there is a solution......

I git up the nerve and de-wire under the dash......the way I did the firewall...I only need about 25 of the 100 wires in 3 bundles under the dash!

As soon as I get some nice soft shag carpet to lay down on....I'll start the de-wiring...I'll turn everything on & start snipping til something quits working!

Blu/W.....stays
R/W.......stays
G/W.......stays
Y/W.......goes
Gy/W.....goes
P/W.......stays
Pk/W......goes
O/W.......stays
B/W.......stays
Blu/R......stays
G/R........goes
Y/R........goes

just to name a few.
