Now you've known me long enough to know the answer:

That'd be waaaaaay too easy just sticking a tool in the backing plate to adjust the screw.... :icon_rofl:

besides.....I wanted to take a look at the shoes to see how much liner was left....

(I'm still working up the energy to flush the A/C components/install the new electric fans/the new dryer and the new compressor)

Happy Father's Day Jesus 2013 !!

Hey Doorgunner, I didn't see it any where, of course I can't see in one eye and blind in the other, but could you post a link to where you got the truck body, or is this one of those Government secrets you have to keep ?!?!

Sorry Robert....but the owner of the company passed away...his elderly wife shut the company down....they only made bodies & parts as customers ordered them, so there is no inventory.

I ordered my truck parts in May 2008 and a month later I drove to central Florida to pick them up and trailer them back to Louisiana.

ok, I did a search looking for custom bodies for the ford ranger, and didn't come up with anything worth while.

I just remembered that there is a company that makes a 1930? (square-cornered cab) and body parts....but they want about $30,000 just for the basic unfinished body/cap/doors/glass/bed/fenders!!!!!!! You can find a 1930 truck in decent shape for $5,000----or if you find one next to a barn or house for a LOT less cause it hasn't been resold so many times by people who only want to make money off of it.

So.... Where is the sticker. I must know.

It is still in the truck...I beeen working on a shed for a month :bawling:

I've been looking at old truck bodies, but I'm a tall person and your cab being a xlt or extended cab would do me better, all the standard 20's to late 30's cabs aren't made for a tall person., and I can't drive with my knees up in my chin.

Yep......you would/could add an additional foot of sheetmetal between the doorpost and the rear of the cab to "stretch" it....

being 5'8----I use that extra room to lean back all the way and get some zzzzzzzzz's on a long trip-------after a good meal at

Sonic ! :yahoo:

LOL, now that funny, "a good meal at sonic", lol, ouch that made my side hurt.

Robert

sent with a inner tube and a box of 10 penny nails.

Just checking in to see if I did anything lately......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Nope !

that A/C ain't gonna get in there by itself Rookie!

I thought I as the only one that did that.

I go out to the garage every now and then to see of the engine and trans are cleaned up and installed in my Ranger yet.

The law of averages states if you wait long enough it WILL happen. Just give it time, young grasshoppa!
