It gets cold down that far south?

Down here my Ranger chugs when it's 60*F for the first 3 minutes.....it takes 5 minutes to hit on all 8 cylinders....(of course...I got stupid and sawed the choke housing off during the summer )

guess I'll have to put a hotter thermostat in it !

haven't done anything thru the Holidays.....

just trying to clear my head a little so I can re-focus on the Ranger.....

I'm still not motivated yet to work on my truck.......that terrible event at the SandyHook Elementary school where the children were massacred really caught me off-guard and took a lot out of me....as a soldier in the Viet Nam War I witnessed the N.V.A. on different occasions slaughter women and children that our helicopter was trying to rescue. We were either out of ammunition because of Congressional cut-backs or couldn't return fire if we had ammunition for fear of hitting the women and children instead of the enemy soldiers who were using them as human shields.

The flash-backs have been very difficult to deal with....they seem to intertwine themselves with the poor school children's tragedy...

Thank God for an actual place called Heaven where the children will meet their friends and loved ones one day!

My heart goes out to those parents who lost their sons and daughters....and to the teachers who lost their lives....I know how they feel.
