Just Plain Stupied

There i was going down the highway.....

then the engine seemed a little sluggish....

checked the gauges...............

trusty old vacuum gauge was down to 10 (normally idles at 20lb. & cruises at 16 lbs.)...

got back to town...engine was real sluggish on take-off & passing.....engine goes wuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhh instead of Waaaaaa!

air leak at carb gasket---loose carb nuts??????

OR

unused vacuum port lost cap.....???????

OR

vacuum advance diaphram busted?????.........................YEP!!!

ordered a new one....JEGS.....$16.95....

I was wiring a switch into a broken touch lamp to make it a working switch lamp, I had just about finished when I couldn't find the mounting nut.

I spent twenty minutes looking for that thing only to realize I'd left it screwed onto the switch so I wouldn't lose it.
