HEY....I was just thinkin.....You think you could get all the other viewers to run it up to 200,000 views by the end of this year???

( I know my Son would get a kick out of it!!!)

Probably would make Jim O. delirious too!

Don't know about the other viewers but I can certainly hit refresh a buncha times!

if'n i give you a penny per hit....you'll rake in about $320.

I took the truk for a spin................................................ :icon_surprised:

the engine never did go-----MMM--WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

secondary butterflys still don't flap......... :annoyed:

tomorrow I'll go to the next-lighter new springggg... :icon_bounceblue:

You need to get one of these, Secondary Quick Change Spring Kit. I don't know which holley you got but I'm sure they make one for it. I put one on my 4160 on my 2.8L made it alot easier to change the springs, but I wrecked the truck before I got it dialed in.

JoshT....thanks for the info...I see how it (the quik-change kit) works...but I already bought the asst'd spring kit...

I drove the truck all day, but the secondary never kicked in....

I'll go to the next "lighter" spring in the kit....

seems the truck is so light that the V-8 carb-vacum won't drop enough to release the rubber diaphram....

it won't take me 5 minutes to swap the springs out now that I've got some practice....:icon_rofl:

Man!!

79 * F. here.......I need to remove one of the hoods/clamp a mirror to the carb....and take the Ranger down the highway to see if'n the secondary is opening up yet...

(when I installed the 1:6 ratio rocker arms--the engine sounded like the 2ndary was opening even though that was an impossibility with a vacum operated secondary with the truck in Park)

66*F here. Wish I was at my house, I would be ripping apart my 302 right now. Saddly the nice weather will be ending soon and back to the cold stuff. If winter had actually been like winter here, aka lots of snow, then I wouldnt have minded.

I would check to see if the secondary is opening....many ways of doing this...

Strap the wife to the hood and have her check.
Do the mirror thing.
Video camera it.

Scratch the wife on hood, that how we got to the subject of air conditioning due to it would mess up her hair if the window would be down and then to the cooling cup holders...btw how those coming along...yes I had to bring them up.

Glad to hear from you again.
