Just Plain Stupied

Nuff Said !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nice!! snoop dogg's ride :icon_rofl: joke, cool impala i wish i could get my hands on one of those...

Black'03.......I tried flipping it, but it looked even worse.....I will get out the portable bandsaw & the sander/polisher to see if I can match the bumper ends to the fenders......can't hurt the looks of it.....(I can't figure out why Ford designed it like that in the first place/I understand the dip in the middle to flow with the lower grill)

EDIT: I even put the back bumper on the front end.......it even looked better (it's straight from end to end.....but I've got too much invested in the front V bumper to put it in the attic & hope somebody doesn't crush the front end)

yeah try to bend a bit the side ends, thats the not to cool looking part of it, maybe a lil more squared to match the fenders. looks like adapted from another truck right now

the v was to look pretty only thing i dont like bout the 30's trucks is the mounting it looks well wrong ya know the connectors are all well not even really weares on a person with ocd >.< in the 34 i worked on the front fenders came down more and the front tage mounted to the pass side on the fender looked good in my eyes and the truck its self looks amazing DG

Out of tha shade & in tha heat!!!!!!!!!!

I'ts time to bolt the planks under the running boards to the supports so they don't rattle on every bump in the road.......

then, install the left & right hood latches so the gull-wing hood doesn't start flapping above 50 mph......true story......LOL

That sould complete the out-side of the truk.

keep up the good work man, i might not be here much longer so just want to tell you now that youre doing a great job and id really like to see her when shes done

Hey DG I can't be sure, but... I've done some research (google/google images) and I think that that front bumper is actually a 36 car bumper. It seems that it was a popular swap back in the day so it's almost become standard now. From the pics I've seen the actual 36 truck bumper was bowed out from the front of the truck, wider, and did not have the dip. Just an FYI, couldn't say that it's look better.

Thanks for the info....I'm stuck with it for good or bad!

Just read the full thread and I actually gave you a standing ovation. That is one kick ass truck you have there my friend. :icon_thumby:

Tanks....err....thanks a bunch....you're a real trooper for sifting thru all the "stuff" in this thread!......
.I'm just trying to stay sane (or at least 1/2 way sane)......
build a little truck....
and have some laffs doing it.....
without taking too much Advil......
since it's not going to be a "perfect" show truck------it's gonna be a perfect daily driver*....
