O.K..................back to the subjex..........since I need the Ranger all this week, I gonna NOT do the ring/pinion swap yet.
Instead...I took a keyhole saw & started cutting into the dash....yep I know it's the rong spot for a radio...but the cab is so narrow inside that I don't even have to lean over to change the station...WAAAAAAAAAaaahahahaaaaa
Step 1. Cut hole right size/wrong spot.
Step 2. Look at all ducting/A.C. hoses & sigh.
Step 3. Don't worry about Step 2 yet.....keep on cutting.
Step 4. knock-out loose piece of dash.
Step 4. See if ralio fits....nope.....file hole till ralio fits.....yep.
Step 5. Slide ralio inot...into ralio hole. Phtootograph it.

Step 6. Git rench & loosen A/C hose j-u-u-u-st enuff to swivel fitting outta the way. Gotta go do dat.
