Yep, I can see myself telling my grandkids stories about this guy I new on the internet that stuck a big Chevy motor that burnt dead dinosaurs into his Ford Ranger. And how he tore out the smaller motor and stuck a body that looked even older on it.

And that he is a legend on an old website (that could very well still be around) known as the therangerstation

M_M.........since you put it that way, I just had some profound insight.......................I is crazy as the V.A. thinks I is......I'd better keep taking those meds they give me every month....even though they (the V.A. & the meds keep me 1 step above unconsciousness....but that's another conspiracy theory I try to keep a secret...(psssst....don't tell anybody else)




Anyhow....I removed 14 more feet of excess wiring from the ignition switch harness....noe I'll....n o w I'll be able to mount it under/behind the dash.....

Maybe tomorrow the alarm/remote start gets re-connected & hid under the dash.....Wednesday it goes to the alignment shop to fine-tune that Tech Library String Alignment I did on the '36 about 5,000 miles ago....that oughta be ve-e-ery in-ter-rest-ting!!!!!

its got chunks of metal in the bottem of the pan and more shavings then it should have, so need a new one...

Nowwwwwwww I remember.....so....it was destroyed too much to rebuild it?

Ima gonna rebuild mine, but it's only got 185,000 miles on it & going for the big 200,000...... it's at the bottom of the 2nd list...LOL


Right now I gotta finish off those last 10 wires on the remote start so the dash wiring will be inside the dash instead of hanging down on the gas pedal/brake pedal/my wife's feet(I tell her--"Don't push it around...the truk could quit running!")....

Out to the go-rajjjjjjj.

From the way its acting im thinking its gotten worse inside, its really clunking and grumbling im thinking its gunna be a parts recovery

im off to work DNR shortly and will have the pics of my more recent changes in my build thread tonight barring a project fire

iv been doing wiring too and must say with my abilities or more so lack of its hard as heck

You probably broke a gear set smokes. Sounds like one that I heard before.

Guy I used to work with drove a probe with the CD4E. His did the same thing until one day it just wouldn't go forward. He tore into it and found one of the gear sets had cracked two of the planets.
