is it a 5.3? if so that chevys newer 327 and it should have multiport fuel injection, with vortec heads. so it could have a 4 barrel intake and a 2 barrel adapter but that makes absoultely no sense to me.

i need a little more info.

the vin number says its suposed to have a 323ci (thats what the website called it) in it
but its an 01 and it has a 2barrel carb manifold and no injectors or anything so i know its not a fi

I wuz jus pikkin........

sounds like somebody wanted a carbed 327 so they swapped some stuff over

doesn't that sound reasonable? OR they didn't want a treefiddy (350)
in there vehicle

UPDATE

so far, ive figured out which headers might work. but the stock ram horn manifolds the angle back fit great. very minor notch on the pass. needed depending on where you mount your engine.

the alternator brackets fit well.

the p/s pump is another story, you will need one from a 1962 chevy impala w/the 5.3 engine.

the brackets need to sit above the steering box instead of next to it.

a small bracket needs to be cut off, and you will need to weld a new bracket on to line everything up.

its all small stuff but it needs to be done.

oh and the lines from the impala are the perfect size and they fit the box nicely.

pics will be added later.

*******PICTURES*********

ok so heres where im at. im going to be using the ram horn manifolds. the angled back one on the drivers side. and a standard straight one on the pass. side. ive mocked up a spare rad just to see the room i have. engine is not bolted in yet. but will be soon

non of my accesorys are bolted permanent. just seeing where im at.
