just plain stupid, doing a sbc swap w/blackwidow

well, the p.s pump will only work the way i did it if your using headers, or your ram horn manifolds dont have the extra meat on them for the old style pumps.

but, if you do have that style, like i do, then it works out fine because you can bolt the pump bracket to that by just drilling one hole.

im officially sitting on the mounts.

im just waiting to get the right yoke for my d-shaft so i can make sure i dont have to move the engine more foward.

but after that. ill just get some 1/2 thick wall tubing and weld up my mounts.

I know that feeling (steering shaft/header).....but after about a week of eyeballing it every time I wasn't working on the XMSN!....I finally figured it out

it was truly sad to come to the end of this 31 page read with out a final result. I guess i am stuck waiting with the rest of the TRS group ha ha well the non chevy hating side of em any ways. I mean cmon what proud ranger owner could complain about having some crazy ls6 or lt1 or what ever can be made to fit in there ranger and smoking a fellow stang or 302 ranger. Great motors from great companies I like my ranger for the size and body style and the fact i can make it to pull atvs out where a f150 couldnt fit. I will place a 302 or a 350 which ever path has less restance / cost i find in my ranger even tho i got pissed and posted it on craigs the other day lol ima still keep it just more money and time then i thought. I had almost no mechanical skills before 2 months ago and have learned all i know due to this pos i bought ha ha ha. Nah i will start a build thread when i start and can keep it going for a while. great build man

Hey guys. No I'm not brainlocked on headers. Figured that out 2 months ago. I've just been real busy and haven't had the cash yet. Bout 2 more weeks and I'll have the parts I need the i will resume were I left off.
