I would put the engine in and put the goodies on as I go (makes for a longer build thread to and keeps people on the edge of their seat as to what you will do next)!!!!!!!!

i know i know. im doing what i can. im gonna run it the way it is first. heck, i might just drive it the way it is for now. then rip the engine out again and do what i want.

Update

im doing a doorgunner on this one.

check list for me to get sbc running. than tear apart to do upgrades.

1. set engine in place check

2. mock up motor mounts.

3. fabricate and weld the frame mounts.

4. mount the engine

5. install, modify trans crossmember

6. install dizzy.

7. install manifolds, mock up exhaust.

8. mock up radiator.

9. install water pump.

10. flush fluids on block

11. install starter.

12. electrical- hook up starter, and dizzy.

13. clean carburator. check

14. check for any leaks.

15. start engine and video tape the ressurection of blackwidow.

that should do it. im hoping by the middle of november to have it up and running. after i get it running, then i will pull it apart and do my mods. everything i need will cost about 1800 from www.jegs.com
