Picked this up today for $900. Feel like i did pretty good on it, has lots of new parts and runs great. I have already sanded and painted part of the bed. Going to get rid of the crazy camo paint job and do a decent rattle can white.

It seems to be a little low on power. Does the ride heigt look stock or like it has been raised? Also is there a way to tell what pinion gear is in it? I want to bump up one from whatever it is to give it a little more juice. I use it to just run around town and haul stuff so not being all that great on the highway is not a big deal.

I too have a '94 B2300. My chief complaint has been the lack of power at low RPM. From dead stop it seems to take forever to get up to speed. Once rolling, I find that if I keep the engine between 2500 & 3500 RPM I get pretty good performance.

Ride height looks normal. I can't help you with the pinion gear.

And I agree you should cover up that camo paint job ASAP. YIKES!

Looks like you got a lot of truck for $900. Best of luck.

there should be a tag on one of the bolts that hold the diff cover one. it will tell you what you have.
