Just got a TRS spam.....

As I logged out, there was this pink, smiley flashing at the bottom of the screen that literally said "Congratulations! You've won!!" because I was 100,000 visitor to the site.

Now I followed along as far as I wanted to without giving my PI, but of course, they wanted you to complete 2 other offers, blah, blah, blah.

Man, I really wanted that $1000 Walmart card.................

Man, I thought that was a load of crap too. Last week we received a $50.00 Wallmart gift card in the mail. It was from a survey I did on line for some place we bought stuff online for the house almost a two months ago. I can't remember which place it came from since I did about four of those surveys on line. My wife thought it was a scam. I took it to Wallmart last night and they said it was valid. I have not received a bunch of spam either after doing the surveys. My McCafee Virus Plus showed it was a safe and tested site to go into or I would not have done it. Now what to buy for the cats.......

1 in 10,000,000,00,000,000 of course.....now the cats are mad because we did not get a gift card in the mail...never teach your pets how to read...ok?? lol

I don't know if that was intentional, but I doubt it--or at least Jim hasn't mentioned it. I have not gotten that. Maybe check your computer for spyware or something.

Among one of the many reasons I just don't ever log out of TRS.

I went to click on a thread just a lil bit ago and clicked instead on the blank area near the thread title by accident. Instead of doing nothing, I was rewarded with a pop-up advertisement.

My comp should be spyware free and I don't use IE for my web browser either.

Get a better pop-up blocker. I can't remember which one I use, but I know it's one of the ones on the plug-in list for FireFox.
