Just Found This for Sale

I agree that there is no excuse for a lost title. If that person is the title holder then they can pay a small fee at the title office and get a reprint. It's $16 here in Ohio for that. Title office is open 5 days a week. So it sounds like laziness unless you are like me and work the same hours as the title office. Theres always a way if you plan on selling a vehicle to make a bunch of Ben Franklins.

I live in FLORID. That means stay away from DMV as much as Possible. I don't know enough of North Carolina laws about car titles, but I know if I go to the DMV it is with great regret and terror. It Never cost what they say it will cost, always more. It's never as easy as they say it will be, usually ends up being a several trip back and forth to various locations to get the correct paperwork or whatever.

My intention of posting expo was for a ranger v8 swap. It is not worth trying to get a title. Anything over 10 years old you don't have to have a title to scrap it.

If it was closer to me I would get it. Its exactly what im looking for. around here they want almost 2 grand for that, with title. without , I don't know, cant find one without a title.

I've bought two 5.0L explorers in the last couple years... one for $800, lost title but it was $40 to put it in my name in Washington and get a WA title in my name... I proceeded to lose that title in the year it took me to get it running (bought it with broken spider gears, fixed that for free and on the 5 mile test drive the trans went out... $900 just in parts...). Was $85ish to get a replacement title in my name (I live in Oregon, it's a pain to go up to WA just for that, and I was out of time with trip permits as you get two 20 day permits a year or something like that in OR). Then it was $196 to get an Oregon title and plates in my name... now it'd be $230ish as tag fees went up a lot

Second one was stupid... went to an auction that had a '98 EB Expo with 5.0L, $400 without plates, $200 more and it was plated and in my name. Didn't need that one, but ended up giving it to the wife and it's her daily now... $400 was just too cheap to pass up!!!

First one was 206K on the clock, second was 212k on the clock, second burns oil but gets better mileage than the first one and now has over 220k...

They're out there

Agreed. Looks like quality work too

I love the color of it.

Me too. It's like a newer color on an older Ranger. Even the stripes go good with the blue. are those stripes custom or were they available at some point?

Nice looking truck, not sure I could pay $10k for something with a 2.8 though.

I think 7500 would be a good deal. I think he was just going updated look but keeping it as stock as possible. Some people like it that way.

That's a really nice truck. Love the color. The stripes remind me of STX stripes.

Stx stripes. That's what option those came with. I couldn't remeber. It is sharp truck.

Yeah, one of them is enough for me.

On the plus side it kept the factory paint on my engine crossmember showroom perfect. :icon_thumby:
