Just curious. How rare are regular cab rangers that have 4WD?

Almost everyone I know up north here drives an extended cab with 4WD. On the other hand, I don't know of anyone who has a regular cab with it. Your thoughts?

Reg cabs are also rather rare, especially flaresides. There was once a time when corporations used the fleetsides used them for short order deliveries. They were cheap and reliable.

They were pretty popular in the high school parking lot in the early 00's.

Plentiful in my driveway. In fact, in that location, it is a 50/50 split between regular cab, 4x4, (previously) flare side Rangers and extended cab rwd flare side F150s

Regular cabs of all kinds seem to have out of popularity in the private sector these days.

Kinda few and far between anywhere, hardly even made anymore.

The only two Ranger I have personally owned were regular cabs, a 2x4 1995 (given to me by a customer) and 4x4 1997.

FWIW: Not me driving, my little girl driving it off of an ATV trailer on my property in central Maine.

I just used the Google. I found that in total, some 7 million Ford Rangers have been made, with over 12,000 selling in 2022. I couldn't find any data on regular cabs.

Supercab wasn't even an option until '86.

Regular cab is not available on 2019 Rangers, rumor has it Supercab is going away on the 2024 models.

As you know I usually have one of each in my driveway too. The regular cab is mine. The other is my friend's rattle can Ranger XLT.
