This is just a thought but can a supercharger that is made for fuel injection with the air inlet on the side be used with a carb adaptedto the inlet hole?
 
Yep, but remember, boost = heat, heat = detonation. It will be a wet system, for sure!

If i make an adapter to adapt the carb to where air is pulled through it just like if it were sitting on a regular four barrel intake would i still have to do this
 
Yes, unless you bolt the carb on top of the roots type supercharger (like an 871 blower)...

PD blowers aren't meant to be blow-though, he's talking about draw-though.
