i was just wondering what would make one side of my truck sag the drivers side of my truck sits about an inch lower then the passenger side ive mesured from the frame wheel wells rocker panels and the bumpers and there all about an inch lower on the drivers side.. could some fat guy have worn out the springs? shocks? worst of all could the frame be bent?? :icon_confused:

Gas tank. It's called the "Ranger lean." They all do it.

Good old ranger lean. I've seen it with almost every ranger i've worked on.

oh ok good i was worring over nothing then thanks alot :icon_thumby:

Put a V-8 302 or bigger in it.....it'll quit leaning & sit level....

plus.....

it'll lean to the right every time you rev the engine!

:yahoo:

:headbang:

It gets worse over time. If you want to bother with new rear springs, that will mostly cure it.

mine does it. only noticeable if im outside looking at it. from the drivers seat everything seems o.k.

*whew* and here i was thinking "man i really need to lose a few pounds"

Use the search function. This has been brought up a bunch of times on this site. Live with it. We all do.......

If he has torsion bars, could he just tweak the driver's side? Or would that screw something else up? Of course it would just get the front level. Start dating a fat gal, that will fix it...

Take the leafs and swap them left to right and then it'll lean the other way!

No-o-o-o-o.....it's a lot easier to back the truck into the parking spot so the "lean of the driveway" will level out the truck!
