I have this 90 ford ranger XLT have had it for almost 11 years. Been a great truck but I don't know if its a bigger issue or just a flaw in the tranny. Anyway in the last almost 11 years I have blown 1 myself and a family member has blown 2 1st gears out of the transmission. Has anyone else heard of or seen this problem? It only happens when you need it most LOL winters in Iowa can suck at times and it happens when coming out of or locking it into 4 low at random times. Thoughts and suggestions on this problem?
