Just a pic or two.

i feel for ya up there.

thats some serious coin to spend on a ranger work rig.

and all at the mercy of shipping.....which can be a disaster in itself.:annoyed:

Its not so bad when you don't pay anything for the truck , it was a freebe , and in mint shape. :yahoo:
it will be hard to wait the 2 to 3 weeks before everything gets here !!!

Back at home

Well finally made it home from the city , put on almost 300 miles and after spending a boat load of money , I didn't bring home a lot , almost everything had to be ordered.
But I did pick up a new grill and a new passenger side mirror , and had them right in about an hour.

i want to run the fullsize ford van mirrors, i use gm mirrors currently....well they are mismatched at the moment but usually they are the big fat bastard gm mirrors....i really like the huge mirrors more as i get older for some reason.

cant wait to see you put some new stuff on this beast:icon_thumby:

Just adding the parts and pieces as the come in . Got my rims in the other day and being on my second day off I couldn't resist. I had to mount the tires.
I live 60 miles to the closest tire shop and up here its $32 bucks a tire to mount , so I slipped them on myself ,,,, naturally I had to see how they look. I can't wait till I get my order from Skyjacker need lift NOW !!!:D:beer::D

Yes thank you , them rims and tires look good on the black truck , ,,,, I'll eventually put the flat deck on once I get the box all pounded to sh*t , but will keep it with the stock box for now.:icon_thumby:

i would be tempted to bow and cut the fenders and do a simple 150 spring and arm lift myself with as good as those fit now.

Ya they do look good just as is but I am looking to get the body up a little higher , the muskeg up in these parts always keeps a guy looking for more height , but we will see . :headbang:

How much did you wind up spending on the flat bed?

Surprisingly I don't have too much invested in it , most all the stuff came out of my bone yard , and only had to buy the 6 inch I beam and the 8500lb winch , I doubt I have $1200 into it , that includes the winch.
If you like I'll take a bunch of more detailed pics and post'em up on how I have it all set up . :icon_thumby:

muskeg.....

you need tracks for that stuff.:D

yeah, some rail clearance is needed for heavy goo, sometimes being a little higher up is a huge benefit for damn sure:icon_thumby:
