if i crank my torsion bars about 2 3/4 so i can get the front level with the back can i get an alignment and not mess anything up far as joints and all that and if so how much is a ballpark range on how much the alignment should cost

So many views but no answers :(

Back it down to 2 inches and then it should be ok. its too high now and will wear out the front end

You can get camber bushing to realign once your cranked but your gunna lose down travel and your truck is gunna be hella stiff, as for the alignment it should only cost about 50 bucks max

how much is camber/bushings?

You shouldn't turn the torsion bars up more than 1.5".

You're probably not getting many replies because this is a daily subject here and people are likely bored with answering it again and again... I'll try to help you out here but basically your question has been answered above:

-2 3/4" is too much to crank your bars, 2" is about the "safe" ("safe" because no-one knows for sure...) max.
-No matter what, a torsion twist puts your cv's at increased angles and can decrease their lifespan.
-TT increases camber which can be fixed by having camber bushings installed and an alignment performed.
-TT eliminates downtravel in your shocks so the front end will have a very stiff and/or bouncy feel.
-Cost for alignment? No idea, grab the yellow pages andstart calling around.

Hope that helps...

do you have to get the camber bushings? and do you have a part number or anything?

Only the alignment shop will know for sure once they try to align the truck. They will have bushings there.

so i just called around and asked how much new camber bushings would be if needed and they tell me $100 does this sound right 100 a side
