Junkyard trip......

AND where prices are variable depending on how you are dressed, what you are driving and what mood they are in...
The places I shop have PRINTED price lists and an engine is a fixed price based only on the number of cylinders and it doesn't matter of it's out
of a Ford or a Jaguar...

-well, most of the ones around here have a wrecker svc. and they have little ads in small papers where they pay roughly $100 and will remove junk/old/none running vehicles from your yard. everything they sell off of them is gravy/profit, because when the crusher comes in they pay $250-300 per vehicle for the scrap. so most of the time prices arent bad. read my story above. ive NEVER had a bad money experience where i go. and the good thing is, normally they cater to most of the older vehicles. RARELY is there anything newer than 8-10 yrs old. i like the fact that i can get as much as i did for $20, rather than having to budget for the fact that everything is pre-priced. negotiations is almost as much fun as finding the parts....:clapping:

Three months ago at the junk yard I raided a 2005 and 2006 ford ranger.
