Is it a GT model or a ranger with ground effects?
I thought the GT's were short beds..

its a Ranger GT. rangers wth the STX option and the GT pkg. which added the gfx. sway bars, fog lamps....yes, this one is a GT. they could be either long or short beds.....

I dont think thats a true GT.
Real GT's were phased out after 88.....i beleive.
They were all 2.9\5sp....and i dont see a stick shift in that pic either.....unless it has been removed.
But maybe im wrong.

Yep thats a true GT. And the GT was made in 88/89.

not fair....i havent even seen one...probaly cuz they are all in rangerbirds driveway!!!
-rained here when ive been off, so its on hold....
whoops, missed this, yes it was a 5sp. and the eng/trans combo is gone. but they could also be optioned with an automatic. 5 sp.s were standard.....

i have seen one in my entire life. its for sale, for the grand price of $2000 that its not anywhere near being worth. it is an 88 with a 2.9 and an auto. its also a longbed. anyways, looks like you stumbled on to something good!
