im just waiting to hear back from the guy to see if he still has em.

There is a good chance that if you remove the storage compartments, you should be able to mount the seats from the 96 in there. I'd say pull one storage compartment to see what you have for mounting holes, and then take a look at the seats.

I have an '05 Supercab Ranger without the jump seats. I would like to install a pair. Do I need to install a different interior side panel to accept the seats, or do the seats simply bolt-in place after removing the storage boxes?

OK, I'm going to suggest what i suggested before, remove the storage box and make a drawing with measurements, then go to a wrecker/ or a friend that has a 2 door ext-cab and fold down the seat, take measurements and compare to what you have in your truck. (do not forget about mounting holes yes there a PITA but you never know) Now if i had to guess, I'd guess ford took the lazy way out and made the panel the same, except for the storage bin.

Then PLEASE for the love of all things holy post your findings, now i would go do this BUT, up here in Canada the 2 door ext-cab ended in 1998, so i am unable to do this for you guys.

Alright... near where I live there is a street where there are about 7 wrecking yards and I should be able to find a suitable truck. come next weekend.
Thanks for your suggestion.

The holes for jump seats are already there in all the 2 door ext cabs I have ever delt with (93-97 not sure about 98+) the holes are just plugged with rubber things. In order to add the jump seats you will also need the plastic trim around them. In a truck that has jump seats the trim is two peices, one peice covers the side wall and one peice goes under the seat and hides the bolts and rear seat belts. The trucks that came with out rear seats have carpeting (or rubber flooring) that covers the bolt holes becase the interior plastic doesnt stick out as far as a truck that has rear seats, but this can be fixed with a knife or scissors. Ford was also nice enough to put some sort of super high strengh lock tight on all of the seat belt bolts, so you will most likely have to drill out all of the bolts and replace them with grade 8 or metric equivalent bolts.
