No. That's just what the girl said. 3mph won't do that damage to anything. Even a motorcycle could take a 3mph hit with next to no damage. That chick is lying her ass off.
How many friends u have man? u have friends everywhere!!
So pennies blocking the drain is a common issue on these vehicles? Ask your buddies if there is a recall for that like there was for the drain dripping into the trans and flooding it on the 3.7Ls.
And no, I'm not sure that is the ONLY way to do it. If I'd known it was a hard obstruction and not a mouse nest I'd have taken the dash out instead.

buying a compass does help on directions ,but it wont help her look both ways![]()
Mybe so I didn't belive her when she said the jeep was totaled either but I've saw the papar work. As for the accident unless she runs a V12 with NOS she only drove 12 feet out of the ally before she got hit so maybe the civic was going moc 10 from it's driveway which was 50 some feet away. but think about it if she was going 3-5 mph the civic was going say 5-10 mph that would be 8-15 mph on impact. That will set the airbag off and total the jeep, you forgot to add the speed of the other car.
What about replacing a head on a 1999 5.4 F150 in which removing the cab is the best way to do it.![]()

Ok, the Feep jucked me back today. Got the penny out, then I found a quarter. That will require removal an disassembly of the air box.
Then as I was putting the trans back in the bell caught and slipped free before I even noticed (pneumatic trans jack). I noticed it when it let loose and caught my fingers between the t-case output flange and the gas tank.
This wasn't one of the "F-me" and done ones either. I was laughing it up for about 10 minutes while trying to get the bleeding to stop. Then the adrenaline wore off and it hurt. A lot. Got a little dizzy too.
So then... I got to waste a large chunk of my day at the local ER making sure I didn't do anything super serious. Got my hand's picture taken by a pretty girl. Got some stitches from a kinda creepy guy.
Got dang my hand hurts.
What should I have for dinner?
