Josh40601's Build Thread. (D-ranged)

the reason your lights are not working has nothing to do with the SAS. It has everything to do with you removing the bed.

Yes I am running the auto shift 1350 for now. We have to build a custom crossmember so the driveshaft clears. As far as the shaft, the stock CV style shaft is what I am using on the front, and I am using an extended stock driveshaft on the rear. Both compress at the diff.

Went to work on D today, and to me, didnt get shit done. One side of the rear is done. Ordered 380 bucks worth of parts, but wont be delivered until tomorrow morning at 10 am. Tuesday evening I'm going back out to finish what I started. I'm also putting in a spindle lift to my buddy who is in Iraq right now. Got a 03 Edge 2wd that is getting the spindles up front, and a set of beltechs out back. Ill keep you guys posted!

Got the ol gal on the ground. This thing is huge. The distance between the axle and frame is 14". From center of the hub to top of the arch is 34". It still will settle out a bit, so it should drop about 4 inches up front. Enough typing, here are the pics

Thanks brother. I dont like how the tires stick so far out either, I am going to put bushwacker cut outs on it because they will cover most of the tire, which should make it look a lot better.

Thanks guys. I cant wait to take it out and play with it

Lookin good! Wish i could fast forward my cashflow to finish mine!

I just wish I could set a fire under the guy who does the welding so I can have my truck back! Its been at the shop since January. He's one of my buddies and he has hooked me up with lots of free parts, so I cant complain to much

yea, I dont have a welder and I live in an apartment. Not happening....

shit that sucks man. he wouldnt let you use it to practice then huh? thats how i got started, i was lucky enough to have a friend willing to give me his welder for a little bit

I do get to when he is out there, but trust me, if you seen this guys welds, you wouldnt want anyone else to do it either. Dude is good. REALLY good. gonna go work on it this weekend, see what else I can get knocked out. Going home to KY for a week, might try to get as much done on my little 2wd as I can.

i wana see this thing on some rocks. very nice build man
